I had the same experience w/ the man. (Not sure if "gentleman" is the proper word to use for this person as no one seems to have a pleasant experience w/ him.) There were 2 people working the Information Desk. The lady was helping someone else, so I went up the man & asked him for help. (The mouse wasn't working, but I was still able to sign on. Didn't realize the mouse wasn't working until AFTER I signed on. I had already signed on & couldn't even sign off b/c the mouse wouldn't work. For those of you who aren't familiar w/ this, once you sign onto the computers & then sign off, you are permanently locked out & you have to get a librarian to sign you back on as a guest.) He told me to switch computers. I asked why I had to move & wondered why he couldn't help me. He said "b/c it's not working." He didn't even get up from his chair to help or to try to fix the problem. I waited for the lady to finish w/ the other people & she was able to help. (I had to switch computers. She signed me off & I was able to sign onto a different computer.) Five (5) minutes later, the man went to that computer & changed the keyboards - IT WAS THE MOUSE THAT WASN'T WORKING.

Librarians are supposed to be "people-oriented." What is this person doing working here if he is rude, disrespectful, & hates people?? Unbelievable.
