We stopped here today when we were in the area. Seeing so many good reviews, we expected this place to be good. It was not. This store is huge. Some products had a large selection, but some had little to no selection. The meats looked very fresh and good. The produce looked ok. Bananas were fresh, but grapes were not. There were some glaring issues with this store. The staff at this store were unfriendly and not helpful. The lady at the self checkouts was rude. The store is very old and the layout is bad. It needs to be renovated. It was well lit in the center, but the produce area and frozen foods section were both poorly lit. The floors were filthy. There was an unpleasant smell in the store. It smelled like strong cleaner/ammonia. The fish area smelled bad. Also, for such a huge store, there were many empty spaces. The entennman's products were randomly scattered throughout the store and there was little to choose from. Where is the bakery?! The bakery was not labeled and the space were it looks like a bakery could be is empty and deserted. There were baked cookies placed near the front of the store on a table, but the bakery cases for muffins and bagels were filthy and empty. There was bottled water placed where the bakery counter could have been. There were no bagels or muffins and no employees around to help. The only baked goods we saw were scattered randomly throughout the store. The prepared foods section also had bare counters with almost no food put out. I may have missed something or come on a bad day, but this store was really strange. The store felt like a warehouse, not a supermarket. It felt like it was stuck in the old days. Also, there were very few customers or employees in the store. I'm not sure if the store isn't doing well, but something was off here, from the layout, to the old decor, to the bad smells, to the rude workers, to the filthy floors. I would not come here again. Overall, this store was weird, ShopRite and Stop & Shop down the road are both better in my opinion.
